OUR MISSION – TO SHINE A LIGHT ON VIETNAMESE COFFEE
Phin mi is a Vietnamese coffee brand & coffee shop. We import our beans directly from dedicated producers in Vietnam and roast them by hand in Paris to bring out their full character.
Our mission: to reveal the richness of Vietnamese terroirs and offer coffee with character, accessible and sustainable.

AT THE ORIGIN, A FRENCH-VIETNAMESE DUO
Created in 2024 by Kimnga Lê and Marin Deprez, Phin mi was born from a simple observation: Vietnamese coffee is one of the most consumed in the world, yet still underrecognized. Their ambition: to revalue this everyday product by championing specialty coffee that is traceable, carefully roasted, and rich in culture. Through their brand and their coffee shop in Paris, they aim to educate palates, shift perceptions, and place Vietnam back at the heart of the coffee map.

OUR PARTNERS IN VIETNAM
We work hand in hand with several family farms in Vietnam’s Central Highlands, such as Zanya Farm and Gaia Farm, renowned for their exceptional coffees and dedication to responsible farming. Together, we share one vision: celebrating the richness of Vietnamese coffee.

VIETNAMESE COFFEE COMES OUT OF THE SHADOWS
At Phin mi, we choose to shine a light on a coffee that has long been overlooked. Vietnam is the world’s second largest coffee producer, yet its expertise remains largely unknown. Too often reduced to stereotypes, Vietnamese coffee deserves to be recognized for what it truly is: rich, complex, and deeply cultural. We also champion Vietnamese Robusta, too often dismissed, yet full of character and more legitimate than ever in the world of specialty coffee. Changing perceptions, showcasing terroirs, and sharing a culture: this is our commitment, cup after cup.

GIVING VIETNAMESE COFFEE BACK ITS PLACE
At Phin mi, our mission is simple: to put Vietnamese coffee back on the map. A rich, intense coffee, too often overlooked, that we aim to share, highlight, and pass on.
WHAT MAKES VIETNAMESE COFFEE SPECIAL?

GROWN IN VIETNAM, LAND OF COFFEE
Vietnam is the world’s 2nd largest coffee producer, and the No. 1 in Robusta. Grown between mountains, volcanic soils, and tropical climate, this unique terroir gives beans that are rich, intense, and full of character.

HAND-HARVESTED WITH CARE
Our beans are picked at perfect ripeness by passionate Vietnamese producers. Each harvest is a work of precision, ensuring a high-quality coffee with a naturally rich aroma.

ROASTED WITH LOVE IN PARIS
In Paris, we roast our beans ourselves to ensure freshness, traceability, and mastery of taste. No artificial flavors, no shortcuts – only pure coffee, carefully crafted.

A COFFEE RICH IN HISTORY
Introduced to Vietnam by French colonists, coffee was reappropriated, transformed, and anchored into daily life. Today, it returns to France with its own identity. And you are invited to discover it.
